Love In Ten Sentences Poetry Challenge with a New York Perspective

I was challenged to the “Love In Ten Sentences” poetry challenge by Blunderdad from Single Family Asylum. He blogs about being a good dad and he’s quite funny. You can see his poem here. The poem must contain ten sentences with four words in each sentence, one of which must be love. So here goes..

Love among tall skyscrapers

Love long rainy walks

Love late night dates

Long love secret conversations

Whispering love over drinks

Candlelight flickers loving faces

Love knows no time

New York knows love

Its reason is love

Love keeps it awake

And I’m supposed to leave my favorite love quote, “Stay away from people who make you feel that you are hard to love”. Now I have to challenge other bloggers to do this and I’m hoping they’re good sports and try their hand at poetry.

My Daily Walk loves poetry

But I Smile Anyway is always up a for a challenge

Words By Me Katie Z has poetry in her veins

Munky’s Travel and Food Blog will possibly add a scene or a favorite cuisine to his

Just My brand of Nonsense is a good sport
