    1. Actually it’s the Flatiron building and it’s near the original Madison Square, at Madison Square Park on 23rd street. Unfortunately there is no old architecture left at 42nd street just metal buildings, obnoxious people and billboards. Maybe I’ll brave it and take pictures for you. 😀

        1. I avoid the area because it’s too crowded and too many tourists staring at the lights and blocking every sidewalk. It’s too hard to walk in that area but the stores are open till at least midnight.

            1. No I don’t get angry, I understand why they’re there but I just try to avoid it. It’s overwhelming to anyone who hasn’t been in a place that ‘big’ before.

  1. I love that building, never had the chance to take a photo of it! But I used to have poster on my bedroom’s wall when I was younger. I think it was advertising a congress on architecture or something like that. Anyway, it’s just so elegant.

        1. I didn’t look at it like that but thank you. It’s on the way to the subway station so I pass it and often don’t take the time to stop like I should because of time.

  2. It said my request timed out. So I am retyping my comment “I find wedged shaped buildings mind bending! I always imagine everyone inside being squashed into the pointy end! But i do like them.”

    1. I’m wondering if I could see the apartments one day, because on the ground floor the pointy part is a gallery, all glass for public viewing.

    1. Thank you. I’m currently taking the Photography 101 course and luckily NY supplies lots of “Big” for my subjects.

What do you think? I would like to know.
